Important Things to Know About Using Walla

Here are some important things to know about using the Walla software

Updated over a year ago

Unpaid Visits

Walla will never allow for an unpaid reservation in a class. You can always issue a comp pass and client's who have an active recurring plan with a valid credit card on file will be able to book past their renewal date.

Unique Emails

Walla uses email as a unique identifier, this means no two clients can share an email nor can you add a client without an email.

Account Relationships

Walla has the ability for your clients to easily pay for guests to use a drop-ins. We do not accommodate package sharing or purchases for another client at this time.

Gift Cards

Walla integrates with a third party software called, GiftUp!. They are industry-leaders in this area and have a high conversion rate of web purchases for gift cards. Each gift card sold through Walla will have a 3.49% Gift Up! fee associated with it. Gift Up! fees are invoiced from Gift Up! and paid within Gift Up! - they are not paid within Walla.

The Walla App

The Walla app is a class booking tool, not a studio-discoverability tool. Meaning your client's are required an account at your studio prior to logging in and viewing the class schedule in the app.

What Gets Imported

Data related to your clients: client profile data, client current and historical plan data, credit cards and upcoming bookings for 2 weeks (pending availability in your current software)

What Doesn't Get Imported

Video library content, enrollment/workshop attendees, gift card information and class/staff information, you will set up each area of the software during the site build phase.
