If you'd like your clients to pre-pay for multiple appointments, or if you'd like to set up a recurring appointment plan, this article walks you through creating an appointment plan, assigning it to an appointment type, and managing plan-to-appointment relationships.
Create an Appointment Plan
- From the main navigation menu, select Plan Management.
- Choose Add New Plan.
- Select Appointment Plan.
- Add the plan name and enter a brief description.
- Select whether the plan starts on the Sale Date or activates on First Visit.
- Choose to list the plan online, or leave this unchecked if clients can purchase it in-studio only.
- If you'd like to restrict clients to purchasing this plan only once, check Restrict to one purchase per client.
Note: Enabling this restriction means a client can only purchase the plan once, similar to how an Intro Offer works. However, this setting will not cause the plan to appear in the Intro Offers report. Keep this in mind when deciding how to structure your appointment plan.
- Select the plan type:
- Unlimited Recurring — Client pays monthly or weekly and receives unlimited appointments with each payment.
- Unlimited Single Upfront Payment — Client pays in full and receives unlimited appointments for a specified period of time.
- Limited Subscription Based — Client pays monthly or weekly and receives a limited number of appointments with each payment.
- Usage Based Single Pack — Client pays once for a set number of sessions (e.g., a pack of 10).
- Usage Based Pack Auto Refills — Client pays for a pack of sessions, and the pack automatically refills when their last appointment is booked. At that point, the client is charged for a new pack.
- Enter a member discount, if applicable.
- Enter Perks & Benefits, Fees, and Policies & Contracts.
- Select Save.
Assign a Plan to an Appointment Type
After creating a plan, you'll need to assign it to the relevant appointment type so it can be used as a payment method.
- From the main navigation menu, select Appointments.
- Choose the three dots to the far right of the appointment type and select Edit.
- Select the Eligible Plans tab.
- Check the box next to a plan to allow it to pay for the appointment.
- Select Save.
Set Appointment to Plan Relationships
You can also manage which plans pay for which appointments through Appointment to Plan Relationships — a quick way to configure plan eligibility across multiple appointment types at once, similar to how this works for classes.
- From the main navigation menu, select Plan Management.
- Choose Set Appointment to Plan Relationships.
- Select a radio button for the appointment plan you'd like to assign, then choose a location.
- Select Save.

Where do I create single session appointment pricing? Single session appointment pricing is created within the appointment setup menus, not in Plan Management.
Are there appointment intro offers? Intro Offers currently apply to classes only. For a discounted first-time option, Promotions may be a helpful alternative.
