iOS (Apple App Store)
You can find the latest version of a branded app directly from your browserâno download needed.
Open a new browser window
Go to: https://apps.apple.com/store
Use the search bar to find the app you're looking for
Select What's New
On the appâs page, scroll down to the "Version History" section
The most recent version number and its release date will be displayed there
Do not use the App Store app on your Mac or desktop to searchâmany branded or niche apps will not appear in search results there. Always use the browser version of the App Store for the most accurate results.
Android (Google Play Store)
Search for the app
On the appâs page, scroll down to the "About this app" section
Select the arrow to see the current version listed
Method 2: Check the App Store on a Mobile Device
You can also find the latest app version directly from your iPhone
Open the App Store app on your mobile device.
Tap the Search tab and look up the app by name.
Tap on the app in the results to open its details page.
Scroll down to the "Version History" section (under the âWhatâs Newâ area).
The latest version number and release date will be shown at the top.
đĄ If you donât see "Version History," try tapping âWhatâs Newâ to expand the section. Some app listings may collapse version details by default.
