By hosting your studios’ livestream classes with Walla via Zoom, there are various options that are important to consider configuring prior to scheduling your first livestream class, enrollment, or appointment.
TIP: Whether you have a single-use or multi-use Zoom account, we recommend logging in to Zoom.us and under Settings, updating account-level settings.
Review Your Walla Zoom Integration
Verify that you’ve signed up for a Zoom Pro account. You can check your account status or sign up for a Zoom Pro account here.
Choose your time zone. It will be in the same time zone as your studio/Walla account.
Settings for Scheduling a Class, Enrollment, or Appointment
The following settings will provide your studio (and your clients) a seamless livestream experience without any additional extensions. Please note, there are specific settings that will be overridden by your Walla and Zoom integration.
When a livestream class or enrollment begins
The host video will always default to ON
The participant video will always default to OFF
Personal Meeting ID (PMI) to schedule a meeting will always be OFF
Muting participants upon livestream entry will always default to ON
During a livestream class or enrollment (Basic)
Play sound when attendees join or leave will always be ON (and can only be heard by the host)
Co-host will always be ON
Showing the meeting control toolbar will always be ON
Screensharing for host only will always be ON
Annotation will be OFF
Whiteboard will be OFF
Nonverbal feedback will be OFF
Allowing removed participants to rejoin will be OFF
During a livestream class or enrollment (Advanced)
The far end camera control will be OFF
Group HD video will be OFF (turning this ON will improve your video quality but could cause connection issues for clients/participants, resulting in poor connectivity, freezing, etc.)
Allowing users to select original sound in client settings will be ON
Ability for participants to join from browser via link will always be OFF
Zoom email notifications
Cloud recording availability will be ON
