A strong privacy policy helps safeguard you business and customers, building a foundation for trust and responsible data handling.

When subscribing or upgrading to Walla's Two-Way Texting (included in the Marketing Suite) and Branded App features, Walla submits information on your behalf to create campaigns or apps in order to setup these features.

Many of these third party services i.e. Apple and Android require a privacy policy for your business and will affect your texting campaign or Branded App approval. Here are some important things to note about your privacy policy:

  • Should be linked at the bottom of your website and the link must open another page embedded on your website. You cannot link out to a PDF.

  • Should include clear labeling as a privacy policy.

  • Comprehensively disclose how your app accesses, collects, uses, and shares user

    data. This must include:

    • Disclosing the types of personal and sensitive user data your app accesses, collects, uses, and shares; and any parties with which any personal or sensitive user data is shared.

    • Secure data handling procedures for personal and sensitive user data developers

    • Your data retention and deletion policy
