Does sharing a plan change the user’s home location?
No. The home location is set for the primary user when the plan is purchased. If a shared user doesn’t have a home location, it will only update when they make their own booking.
Can a secondary user see billing details or contracts?
No. All billing information and attached documents are stored under the primary user’s account. Contracts do not appear in the secondary user’s profile.
Should the shared plan show up as the last plan purchase for the secondary user?
No. Because the secondary user didn’t actually purchase the plan, it will not appear in their last plan purchase history.
Can a secondary user still buy the same plan themselves?
Yes. Sharing a plan does not count as purchasing it, so secondary users can still buy the same plan, even if your settings allow clients to purchase it only once.
Are secondary users eligible for intro offers?
Yes, as long as they haven’t already redeemed them. This is expected behavior since sharing is not a purchase.
Who receives plan-related emails when something changes?
When a plan is set to cancel, canceled, paused, or set to pause, both the primary and all secondary users will receive notifications.
Will sharing a plan show on the plan timeline?
Not right now. This may be added in a future update.
How does sharing affect marketing automations?
Most marketing automations only reference the primary user. Specifically:
-
Class Plan Status: primary user only
-
Number of Plans Purchased: primary user only
-
Class Plan Status + Check-in: primary user only
-
Class Check-in Activity: primary user only
Class Plan Status: primary user only
Number of Plans Purchased: primary user only
Class Plan Status + Check-in: primary user only
Class Check-in Activity: primary user only
If a condition isn’t listed, assume it applies only to the primary user unless noted otherwise.
How can I confirm who used each visit?
Use the Plan Usage tab to see total usage, then cross-reference the class roster and each client’s booking history to see who booked or attended.
