Refunding Gift Cards

When processing a gift card refund in Walla, please be aware that this does not automatically update the gift card balance in Gift Up! You must manually adjust the gift card balance in the Gift Up! platform. This article will guide you through the steps to take in order to void or adjust a gift card balance.

Voiding a Gift Card Balance

Please note that Gift Up! will not automatically void or zero the gift card balance. The gift card balance will need to be voided or adjusted within Gift Up! manually. Follow these steps to void or adjust a gift card balance within Gift Up!

  1. Log in to your Gift Up! dashboard

  2. Find the gift card you would like to refund by going to Orders and searching for it by code

  3. Click the link underneath "Paid using"

  4. If you are giving a full refund, you may want to void the gift card. If you are giving a partial refund, you may want to remove credit from the gift card by clicking the REDEEM button
