Customize your apps and widgets, access widget codes and plan direct links, and manage checkout preferences — all from Widget and App Settings.
Widget and App Settings gives you a complete toolkit for shaping your client-facing experience, including widget themes, logos, plan sorting, direct links, widget codes, and checkout behavior.
Access Widget and App Settings
To access Widget and App Settings, follow these steps:
- Select your profile icon in the top right
- Scroll down to Widget and App Settings
- Select Manage
- Select one of the top menu options
Scroll across the top of the menu to view all Widget and App Settings. These options appear in the following order:
- Widget Theme
- App Logos
- Plan Sorting
- Appointment Plan Sorting

- VOD Sorting

Widget Theme
Customize the look and feel of your client-facing widgets using Widget Theme tools.
Book Button Text Customize the call-to-action clients see when booking or reserving a class.
Font Customize the Headline and Base fonts that appear on your widgets.
Color Customize the color of your book button and the links displayed on your widget.
- Button/Link Color: Choose from a range of shades
- Button Text Color: Adjust to ensure optimal contrast
App Logos
App Logos contains two distinct logos that work together in the Walla App to represent your business. Accepted file types: BMP, JPG, JPEG, PNG, SVG, and TIFF.
Note: Logo changes made here won't affect your Branded App. For Branded App logo updates, please contact your Walla onboarding representative.
To update your Walla App Logo and Banner Logo, follow these steps:
- From Business Settings (accessible via your profile icon), select Widget and App Settings
- Click App Logos
- Upload and save your new logo
App Logo The App Logo appears in the Walla App when clients select favorites, and stands in as the primary logo when no Banner Logo is uploaded. Recommended size: 100 x 100 px. Maximum file size: 100 MB.
Banner Logo The Banner Logo appears prominently across the top of the Walla App and replaces the App Logo in that position. Its wider format makes it your main visual identifier when uploaded. Recommended size: 320 x 40 px. Maximum file size: 100 MB.
Using Both App and Banner Logo When both logos are uploaded, the Banner Logo takes the lead across the app interface, while the App Logo plays a supporting role — appearing only when clients select favorites.
Appointment Plan Sorting
Drag and drop your plans into the order you'd like clients to see. Inactive plans won't appear until you've made them active. Updates apply across all apps and client-facing widgets.
Class Plan Sorting
Drag and drop your plans into the order you'd like clients to see. Inactive plans won't appear until you've made them active. Updates apply across all apps and client-facing widgets.
VOD Sorting
Determine the order your videos appear on your website widgets by selecting an option from the drop-down. To reorder videos for the Custom sort option, visit your VOD page.
- Newest first: Sorted by most recent display date
- Oldest first: Sorted by oldest display date
- Custom sort: You choose the order
Plan Direct Links
Generate a link to a single plan so your clients can complete a purchase directly. The plan does not need to have List Online checked under plan settings for clients to purchase it. All other plan restrictions — such as Can Be Purchased By Members Only and Purchasable Once — still apply.
If the plan shared is an Intro Offer and the client doesn't qualify, they won't be able to purchase it. The advantage of the Plan Direct Link feature is the ability to share a plan that isn't sold online. Inactive plans cannot be shared as a Plan Direct Link.
Widget Codes
Select the link to open the widget in a new tab and copy the URL to your website, or copy and paste the widget code to embed it directly. Choose All Locations to display class and enrollment schedules across all of your business locations, or select a specific location from the drop-down to limit the widget to that location's schedules.

Pre-Filtered Class Schedule Widget
You cannow configure default filters for the Class Schedule widget directly in the embed code generator. The widget loads with the selected filters already applied, helping visitors see relevant classes immediately while still allowing them to adjust or clear filters after the page loads.
Available Filters
- Class Type (In-Person or Livestream)
- Instructor
- Class Name
- Category
Notes
- Multiple filters can be combined.
- Instructor options are limited to instructors at the selected location.
- Class Type, Class Name, and Category pull from all locations, so unavailable selections may result in an empty schedule.
- Refreshing the page resets the widget to the studio's configured default filters.
Preferences
Adjust checkout and display settings for both your widget and app.
Account Creation
Require Phone Number When enabled, clients are required to enter a phone number when creating a new account. This includes when adding a guest to a class or enrollment. Due to app store restrictions, the phone number requirement cannot be enforced when clients sign up via the mobile app. Front desk staff can always override this setting.
Widget & App Checkout Preferences
Allow clients to pay with their account balance at checkout When enabled, clients can apply their account balance to purchases, view their remaining balance during checkout, and combine the balance with other payment methods. Please note: clients cannot pay down negative account balances or purchase account balance credits online.
Skip staff selection on appointments when client is selecting times When enabled, a staff member is automatically assigned as the client selects their appointment details on the widget — skipping the "Select a Staff" step. If multiple staff are available for the chosen time slot, the staff member with the lowest rate for that slot will be selected.
Class Attendance Display
Choose how clients see open spots and class availability on the widget and apps. For the Show spots remaining when low, hide capacity option, the threshold is three spots — regardless of the class's maximum capacity.
