Membership Tiers

Allows studios to create multiple membership tiers, each offering the ability to customize a retail discount and booking window privileges. These tiers provide clients with a more personalized experience while encouraging upgrades through added value.

Why It Matters:

Studios can now better differentiate between membership levels, reward client loyalty, and design programs that fit their business model. This added flexibility helps improve client retention and drives engagement by offering tangible benefits for higher-tier memberships.

Functionality:

For the MVP release, studios can:

-Customize membership privileges on a tiered basis, including:

  • Extended booking windows for higher-tier members

  • Increased retail discounts

-Add tiers to any new or existing plans

Setting Up a Tier

Studios can configure tiers under Business Settings → Member Privileges:

  1. Select “Create New Tier.”

    Enter a unique name for the tier

    1. Enter Retail Discount

    2. Enter Early Booking days (This is the number of days prior to any existing booking windows already established. No change in functionality to this)

    3. Description (Optional)

  2. Arrange tiers by dragging and reordering them in the desired hierarchy.

    Tier conflicts are resolved in order of rank: if a client has multiple plans in different tiers, they’ll receive the benefits of the highest-ranked tier (top of the list).

  3. When deleting a tier:

    Studios must reassign affected plans to a new tier (or select none).

    • All clients currently assigned to that tier will automatically be reassigned to the new selection.

    • We provide a number of plans that are impacted by this change

Tip: Review tier order carefully to ensure clients with multiple memberships always receive the correct benefits.

Plan Setup

Studios can link plans to tiers directly from the Plan Setup (for both new and existing plans):

  • Select the appropriate Tier from the dropdown.

  • Choose whether the change applies to current plan holders or only to future purchases (for existing plans).

Member Tag Updates

The membership tier name now replaces the generic “Member” tag throughout the product:

  • Next to a client’s name in their Client Profile

  • Plan Detail Information

  • Within the Client Profile in the Widget

Credit Bundle Functionality:

Studios can now assign a specific membership tier to all credit bundles.

  • Access this setting under Business Settings → Credit Bundle Settings.

  • A dropdown menu will display all available tiers for selection.

  • When a new tier is selected, it will only apply to newly created credit bundles going forward.

  • Existing credit bundles that previously received membership perks will continue to receive the benefits of the “Member” tier.
