How To Add Rooms For Appointments

Learn how to add rooms for appointment scheduling

To make a room available for appointment scheduling you will need to create the room if you have not done so already. Follow these steps to add a room to use for appointment scheduling:

  1. From the main navigation menu select Locations

  2. Choose a location youโ€™d like to add a room to

  3. Select the tab titled Rooms and choose + Add to create a new room

  4. Complete the Room Name, Capacity, and Notes fields

  5. Select Add to save

After saving you will now see the room as an available option when creating a new appointment type. You will also see the room as an option when booking appointments for your clients on the Front Desk Appointment Schedule.

What you need to know about adding rooms for appointments:

Rooms in the system are managed uniformly, whether they're used for appointments or classes. Here's what you need to know:

  • All rooms are available for both appointments and classes by default

  • When adding a new room, there's no need to designate it specifically for appointments or classes

  • The system currently doesn't offer the option to restrict rooms for exclusive use (appointments-only or classes-only)

  • When scheduling a class, all available rooms will appear in the room selection options, including those used for appointments
