Use email aliases to create multiple accounts using one email. While not explicitly designed for family accounts, leveraging email aliases offers a way to create multiple account using one email. It is important to note that the below abilities are not unique to Walla.
Each Walla account must have its own unique email address. If you share your email with someone else, it could cause problems. Also, if you're trying to create an account for someone who doesn't have their own email, like a child, there's a solution called "email aliases."
Email providers like Gmail and Hotmail allow you to create these aliases easily. For example, if your email is [email protected], you can create an alias for little Suzy by adding something like "+suzy" to your email address when signing up for her. So, her email would be [email protected], but the emails would still come to your inbox at [email protected].
Gmail and Hotmail
These email providers allow for the creation of email aliases without the need for setting up new accounts.
Simply add a plus sign "+" followed by any additional text or numbers to your existing username when signing up for services or accounts.
For example, if your Gmail address is [email protected], you can create an alias for little Suzy by using [email protected]. Emails sent to this alias will still be delivered to your main inbox.
β
Yahoo
Yahoo offers the option to create secondary email addresses that share a single inbox.
Users can navigate to their account settings, typically found under "Settings" or "Options", then select "Accounts" and choose "Create Address".
After entering the desired name for the alias, Yahoo will check its availability, and upon confirmation, the new alias will be linked to the primary email account.
β
Outlook
Outlook users can create up to ten email aliases, all of which share the same inbox.
To set up an alias, users should navigate to their account settings, usually accessible through "Your Info" or "Account Settings".
From there, selecting "Manage Your Sign-in Email or Phone Number" and then "Add Email" will initiate the alias creation process.
Users can follow the on-screen instructions to establish the new alias, which will be linked to the primary Outlook account.
β
iCloud
iCloud users have the option to create up to three email aliases, which are associated with the main iCloud Mail inbox.
To create an alias, users should log in to iCloud Mail and access their account preferences, typically found under "Action" or "Settings".
From there, selecting "Preferences" and then "Accounts" will provide the option to "Add an Alias".
Users can input their desired alias name and any other required information, such as a label or label color for easy identification.
Family Accounts and Child Accounts
Instead of creating separate email accounts for each child, the parent decides to utilize email aliases, which allows for multiple logins under one email address. Let's say the parent's email is [email protected]. When registering each child on Walla, the parent adds a unique identifier to their email address using the alias feature.

For example:
Registration Process
During the registration process for each child, the parent enters their email address with the respective alias (e.g., [email protected]) to create individual logins. The parent completes the registration by providing necessary information and setting up passwords for each child's account.

Management and Access
With the separate logins created for each child, the parent can manage bookings, monitor activities, and access relevant information for each child independently.
