Prepare Your Website and Widgets for Client Interaction

Updated over 2 months ago

With Walla you can upload your scheduling, purchasing, and many other panels to your business' website using our website widgets and direct link! Before you begin, there's a few things to know as you get started.

🏁 Site Setup Spotlight

  • Once the widgets are embedded on the website, you are considered live with Walla, so don't add the widgets until the agreed upon time on your go-live date.

  • You will need to add the Walla widgets to your website on the day you're scheduled to go live and/or start pre-sales, but not before.

Customize Your Widget Theme

Here are instructions on how to get your widget theme looking as "on brand" as possible. Follow these steps to access widget customization settings:

  1. Select your profile icon

  2. Choose Business Settings

  3. Select Widget and App Settings

  4. Select your font preferences for both Headline and Base fonts

  5. Add in your preferred brand color code for Buttons/Links and for Text

  6. Customize the call-to-action when someone is booking or reserving a class

  7. Save

Widget Code Basics

Class Schedule Widget

Copy the Schedule widget from the Widget Settings page and embed on your website via a “code” block. Be sure to make navigation easy to access and clear. Keep your schedule page simple! This is one of the most visited pages on your website, and where most of your members interact with you.

Enrollments Widget

Be sure to make navigation easy to access and clear. Link from your home page and the main navigation to your Enrollment page. Copy the Enrollment widget from the Widget Settings page and embed on your website via a “code” block.

Pricing & Plans Page

Make navigation clear and easy! This is the second most visited page on studio websites. Before adding the plans & pricing code to your website, go to the Plan sorting tab and move plans into the order you'd like them to appear.

Follow these steps to access the Plan Sorting tab:

  1. Select your profile icon

  2. Choose Business Settings

  3. Select Widget and App Settings

  4. Select Plan Sorting

Video-on-Demand Widget

Be sure to make navigation easy to access and clear. Link from your home page and the main navigation to your VOD access page. Copy the VOD widget from the Widget Settings page and embed on your website via a “code” block. This page can be very basic. Simply a quick synopsis (again, bullet points) on what your VOD includes for prospects, and then the widget below.

User Account Widget

If you wish to embed our User Account widget on a dedicated "Log In" page to help your clients easily log in to their Walla account to access their upcoming bookings, wallet, and profile.

Appointment Booking Widget

If you allow clients to book their appointments online, you'll want to embed the Appointment Booking widget and the Appointment Plans & Pricing widget.

Plan Direct Links

If you wish to sell a particular plan via link or button, under the Direct Links tab you will find a drop down menu of your plans.

Follow these steps to access Plan Direct Links:

  1. Select your profile icon

  2. Choose Business Settings

  3. Select Widget and App Settings

  4. Select Plan Direct Links

Click a plan on the menu to generate the specific cart link for that unique plan. If you would like to sell a specific plan via link or button on a page, advertisement, or email, you can use our deep links feature to send clients directly to the cart

Class Direct Links

Generate a link to a specific class instance to add to your website, share in an email, or share directly with a client. An instance is a specific class type, scheduled on a specific day, and occurring at a specific time. For example: Vinyasa at 5:00 pm on Tuesdays.

Follow these steps to access generate a link to a specific class instance:

  1. Select Schedule

  2. Find a class on the schedule

  3. Choose the three dots to the far right of the class

  4. Choose Direct Link

  5. Copy the link

Your link is now ready to share and will update dynamically to the current date.
